This Privacy Policy for Presentable, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you download and use our mobile application Moments ("App").

1. What Information Do We Collect?

Personal Information You Provide

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register on the Services. The personal information we collect may include:

• Email addresses
• Names (if provided through social login)
• Passwords (encrypted)

Social Media Login Data

We provide you with the option to register using your existing Apple or Google account. If you choose to register this way, we will receive certain profile information about you from the social media provider. The profile information we receive may include your name and email address.

Journal Entries

Your journal entries are the core of our service. All entries you create are stored securely and are only accessible by you. We do not read, analyze, or share your journal content.

Information Automatically Collected

We automatically collect certain information when you use the App, including:

• Device information (device type, operating system)
• App usage statistics (features used, session duration)
• Crash reports and error logs

This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our App, for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

We process your personal information for the following purposes:

• To facilitate account creation and authentication — We process your information so you can create and log in to your account.
• To deliver services to you — We process your information to provide you with the journaling service and sync your entries across devices.
• To respond to user inquiries — We process your information to respond to your inquiries and solve any potential issues.
• To send administrative information — We may send you details about our products and services, changes to our terms, and other similar information.
• To improve our services — We use anonymous usage data to identify issues and improve the App.

3. What Legal Bases Do We Rely On?

If you are located in the EU or UK, we rely on the following legal bases to process your information:

• Consent — You have given us permission to use your personal information for a specific purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
• Performance of a Contract — Processing is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you, including providing our Services.
• Legal Obligations — Processing is necessary for compliance with our legal obligations.

4. When Do We Share Your Information?

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service Providers: Firebase (data storage), RevenueCat (subscription management), and analytics providers — all bound by data processing agreements.
• Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, or acquisition.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights.

5. How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?

Our Services offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (Apple or Google). Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. We will use the information we receive only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

We recommend that you review their privacy policies to understand how they collect, use, and share your personal information.

6. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless otherwise required by law. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information within 30 days.

7. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information. Your data is stored using Google Firebase, which provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit.

However, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

8. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor's use of the Services.

If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under age 18, please contact us at hello@presentable.app.

9. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

Depending on your location, you have the following rights:

• Right to Access — Request a copy of your personal data
• Right to Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to Erasure — Request deletion of your personal data
• Right to Data Portability — Export your journal entries
• Right to Withdraw Consent — Withdraw consent at any time
• Right to Opt-Out — Disable notifications or analytics collection

Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, we will remove your account and data from our active databases within 30 days.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.

11. US State Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or other US states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights including:

• Right to know what personal information we collect
• Right to request deletion of your personal information
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights
• Right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)

12. European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, you have additional rights under applicable data protection laws including the right to access, rectify, port, and erase your data, as well as the right to restrict or object to certain processing.

If you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

13. Do We Make Updates to This Policy?

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we may notify you by prominently posting a notice or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy frequently.
